Univision Remains the Fifth Largest Network.

Since the Univision Network joined the NTI in December 2005 – a historic step that made it possible for Univision to be measured alongside its primary competitors, the major English-language broadcast networks – data illustrates that Univision averages approximately 3.5 million viewers in primetime every night, a larger average audience than that of the WB and UPN networks.

Although the WB and UPN networks had primarily competed against each other for fifth place behind CBS, ABC, FOX and NBC, this past week Univision maintained fifth place among Adults 18-34 as well as Adults 18-49. In fact, on many nights, Univision garners more Adult 18-34 viewers than at least one of the “Big 4” English-language networks.
