Univision Town Hall Meeting On Iraq War.

Maria Elena Salinas, co-anchor of ‘Noticiero Univision,’ will host a town hall meeting, ‘Voces de una Nación en Guerra’ (Voices of a Nation at War), which will air on Univision Network Thursday, April 3, from 10-11pm ET/PT (9-10pm Central and Mountain Time).

In a live studio audience, and for the first time, Hispanic America will have the opportunity to voice their opinions over the war in Iraq. The audience will address specific concerns such as the growing anxiety that war will call for more acts of terrorism, increased security measures for immigrants, and the war’s negative effect on the economy and employment.

Drawing upon expert panelists to address these and other concerns, Salinas will also moderate audience discussions regarding the resurgence of unity, patriotism, and support for U.S. troops.

This live broadcast will also include reuniting soldiers in the Middle East with their families via satellite and speaking with the families of soldiers who have sacrificed their lives or are currently being held as prisoners of war.
