Univision’s KWEX delivers in San Antonio.

KWEX, Channel 41, a Univision owned and operated station, scored more 18-49 and 25-54 rating points than KSAT (ABC affiliate), KENS (CBS Affiliate), WOAI (NBC Affiliate) and KABB (FOX affiliate) in most key time periods, according to the latest May 2007 San Antonio Nielsen Station Index.
During Monday – Friday 6 am – 9 am and Monday – Friday 9 am – 3 pm, KWEX drew more Women 18-34 than any other station in the market, regardless of language.
In Early Fringe, during Monday – Friday 3 pm – 5 pm, KWEX grew in Women 25-54 viewers over last May and February 2007 sweep and was rated the #2 station in the market, beating all except KSAT, the ABC affiliate.
KWEX‚s strength and popularity in San Antonio is evidenced by placing #2 in the Monday ˆ Friday – 5 pm- 5:30 pm news time period with Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54 and Women 25-54.
In head-to-head competition with English-language primetime, KWEX ranks #2 Monday – Friday 7 pm-9pm, and is less than one rating point away from the #1 spot. This is in all key demographics that advertisers buy (18-49‚s and 25-54‚s). Regardless of language, San Antonio viewers love Univision!
In late Fringe, Monday – Friday 11 pm-1 am, KWEX earned the title as the #1 rated station in all key demographics.
