Univision’s Spanish-Language Presidential Forum outdraws average English-Language Debate Audience.

Univision’s Republican Presidential Candidate Forum held last night significantly outdelivered the average of the English-language debates in key demos, according to Nielsen Fast National Ratings. Univision’s delivery was +40% higher among all Adults 18-49 than the average of the English-language presidential debates this year that aired on ABC, CNBC, CNN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, and PBS (910,000 vs. 651,000).
Furthermore, among all Adults 25-54, the Univision Forum had a plus 20% viewership advantage over the average of the English-language debates (920,000 vs. 765,000).
The broadcast averaged an audience of 1.8 million Total Viewers 2 plus and was seen in its entirety or in part by nearly 4 million Total Viewers.
“The ratings for these historic forums measure more than viewers, they are a measure of Hispanic America’s eagerness to fully engage in the nation’s political dialogue,” said Joe Uva, CEO, Univision Communications Inc.
