Urban Concepts Launches.

US Concepts launched Urban Concepts, an extension of the agency dedicated to providing clients with resources for event marketing opportunities based in the Hispanic, African American and urban lifestyle marketplace.

“US Concepts has been successful at marketing to the Hispanic and African American marketplace for the last 20 years,” says Brian Murphy, CEO of US Concepts. “I am proud to announce the launch of Urban Concepts. By centralizing our resources and intelligence, I look for Urban Concepts to enhance our abilities and deliver impactful experiential programming for the multi-cultural marketplace.

To celebrate the launch, Urban Concepts presents The Rhythm Live (El Ritmo en Vivo), the first in a series of music showcases featuring a live performance and meet & greet by Grammy Award winner Faith Evans and Def Poetry Jam’s Caridad De La Luz, aka, La Bruja. The reception will bring together leading brands, cultural leaders and influencers from the worlds of music, television, film, sports, fashion, and publishing.

The multicultural staff of Urban Concepts is deeply rooted in the urban lifestyle landscape and delivers a combined 40 years experience in an array of marketing services that include radio promotions, sponsorship sales, branding initiatives, multi-cultural music event programming, and marketing to historically black colleges and universities (HBCU). Jones has over a decade of experience working with the world’s premiere brands across the sports, entertainment, automotive and beverage categories. Gerry Rojas, who has worked with some of the world’s most recognized spirits brands, will concentrate on the Hispanic focus for Urban Concepts.
