U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 29th Annual National Convention.

The Board of Directors of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) announced the selection of the city of Denver as the site for its 29th Annual National Convention and Business Expo. This annual gathering of Hispanic business owners and entrepreneurs, the largest and most influential of its kind in the country, will be held in the “Mile High City” in September 2009.

“On behalf of our Board of Directors and our 200 local chambers nationwide, we congratulate Denver and are honored to be partnering with our Colorado Chambers of Commerce for what will be one of the most successful National Conventions on record,” said David C. Lizárraga, Chairman, USHCC Board of Directors. “The USHCC represents Hispanic businesses, the fastest growing segment of the U.S. economy, and Denver represents the growth and impact of a booming business community.”

“Denver is a dynamic and diverse city with unprecedented Hispanic entrepreneurship and growth,” said USHCC President & CEO Michael L. Barrera. “Denver creates an atmosphere of business opportunity and expansion, and those are the same goals the USHCC holds for the more than 200 local chambers we represent across the United States, Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico.”
