Vamos a Jerry!

Univision Communications’ pending sale has been a see-saw ride over the last couple of days. Who’s in, who’s out, to low, not enough, etc., etc. as reported by all the other trade journals stumbling over themselves and they still cannot give a clear picture of the real-deal.

Calma …. it has yet to shake-out.

There is a lot of additional insider information that caused the defections in the investor teams that will come to light shortly. Maybe a conflict of owning a ratings company and owning a Hispanic focused TV group under one umbrella?

Hummmm!

Maybe a new alliance.

Hummmm!

New investors will come to play. It’s still in the initial phase of the sale, negotiations need to flourish and a buyer or buyers will appear.

This is a company that is well worth the $40 a share that Jerry Perenchio is expecting, regardless of there being only two initial bidders.

It takes one bidder to make the right buyer.

If that buyer does not show up now, they will eventually and at the price the company expects due to their multimedia Hispanic Consumer focused platforms.

You want them, you got to pay. Punto!

On the other hand, it can be sold in parts and still deliver close to the $40 a share equivalent or maybe even more.

That might be a good thing for our Industry!

More players owning more individual pieces of the US Hispanic Consumer puzzle, creates more competition and growth for our Industry. Not to mention more of a need for Hispanic agencies and experts.

Vamos a Jerry que el tiene la vaquita bien amaradita!
