Four additional key players at The Bravo Group and its sister agency Mosaica have left or have rendered their resignations. A reduction in force (RIF) is pending for this week at Mendoza Dillon, after more than 10 people were cut at The Bravo Group due to Sears agency compensation cuts in the past couple of weeks.
Fernando Fernandez – Sr VP General Manager of Mosaica, Rich Ruesga – VP Media Director at Mosaica, Veronica Payan Gonzalez – Associate Media Director at The Bravo Group and Lonnie Limon – Account Director at the Bravo Group have left or will be leaving the agency.
Mr. Fernandez & Mr. Ruesga’s departures leave the top posts at Mosaica vacant.
According to industry insiders, The Bravo Group and Mosaica are gearing to assign their media planning and buying duties to Mindshare’s Group M. The industry speculates that the remaining Bravo Group and Mosaica media planning and buying personnel will be merged into Group M.
There was and their continues to be a mass amount of talent at The Bravo Group, Mosaica and Mendoza Dillon agencies that have help create the largest, most prestigious and highly revered Hispanic agency network in the history of the US Hispanic Market.
With the changes that have occurred at The Bravo Group, Mosaica and Mendoza Dillon along with the changes at highest leadership levels of the Y&R Brands Network, we need to stop and ponder the occurrences.
Can The Bravo Group, Mosaica and Mendoza Dillon agency network maintain their leadership role?
Is the new change in strategy to redefine its game plan a stroke of genius or a death blow?
We will have to wait and see the end results.
