Victoria López Negrete Joins López Negrete Communications.

Victoria López Negrete has joined Houston-based López Negrete Communications, Inc. in a newly created position as Director of Operations, as well as Group Account Director.
With more than 15 years of experience in marketing and brand management, Victoria has built the entirety of her career working for major global and international consumer and financial services corporations in Mexico, Chile and Latin America, and is a seasoned marketing professional who is extremely adept to Hispanic marketing needs.

As the Director of Operations Victoria will focus on evaluating and streamlining the interactions among the Agency’s cross-functional creative, media, account service, public relations and research teams. In addition, Victoria will work to advance the bench strength of the agency’s analytics and research practices, which will provide for better understanding with regard to consumer behaviors and allow the agency to continue to identify new opportunities for its clients.

For the past seven years Victoria worked for Citibank in a variety of vice president and marketing directorship positions. Most recently Victoria held the position of Regional Executive Credit Cards Executive and Vice President with Citibank International Latin America Consumer Bank where she was responsible for their credit card business in Latin America. During her tenure at Citibank, she directed the development and implementation of marketing and re-branding strategy for Citibank Mexico and Citibank Chile.
Additionally, her solid knowledge of the financial services marketing industry was furthered through various positions held with Banco Bilbao Viscaya /Multibanco Probursa, American Express, and she was general manager for MasterCard International’s Mexico office.
On the consumer product side, Victoria worked as a marketing consultant for clients including Unilever, De Beers, Colgate-Palmolive, Northern Telecom, United Distillers and Grupo Maseca (Mission Foods). She began her career in marketing as brand manager for Gillette and Sabritas/Pepsi Food International.
