The Vidal Partnership recognized at the IAB 2012 MIXX Awards.

During the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) international MIXX Awards 2012 ceremony, The Vidal Partnership (TVP) obtained recognition for its advertising achievements in the Multicultural Category. TVP took the silver and bronze for campaigns it has produced for its clients: Heineken “Keep it Legendary” and for Zyrtec “Love the Air”. The MIXX Awards recognize outstanding work by companies in media communications, agencies, and the business community in the realm of online advertising, with an emphasis on creativity and its impact on advertising through digital means.

“When a brand like Heineken does something that is useful to people instead of simply trying to sell them their product, this inevitably ends up selling even more and-as in this very case- gaining them recognition for their work”, said Gustavo Lauria, Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer of the Agency.

Marco Vega, Managing Partner, Brand Management at TVP made the following comment regarding Zyrtec, “This campaign goes beyond clicking on a banner or on an ad unit. In this case, it was critical to raise awareness about allergies among our consumers and educate them on their source in a simple but engaging way.”

This year, the Awards-one of the most coveted and prestigious in the digital sector-consisted of 111 finalists from 30 countries including: United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Italy, Russia, Sweden, Turkey, and United Kingdom. The winners in each category were announced during the 2012 IAB MIXX Awards Gala held at the hotel Crowne Plaza on Times Square in New York City.
