“Viernes Futbolero Tiempo Extra” to debut in Las Vegas and Phoenix

Viernes Futbolero Tiempo Extra,” the 30-minute live local sports show that debuted last year in Los Angeles and San Francisco, will expand into the Las Vegas and Phoenix markets when the show returns on Friday, February 5. Hosted by popular sportscasters Troy Santiago and Nayzeth Carrillo, the program will provide the “Viernes Futbolero” soccer fan an opportunity to get game highlights, stats and analysis, in-depth commentary and closure of the live Mexican League matches that aired minutes prior. The show will also feature guest commentators. ”Tiempo Extra” will air at 9:30 PM PST on Las Vegas 19 and 10:30 MST on Phoenix 41. The show continues to be aired on KAZA in California markets at 9:30 PST.

The program reflects the network’s commitment to outstanding sports programming, and identifying the increasing need to expand soccer coverage into additional Spanish-speaking markets.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer ‘Viernes Futbolero Tiempo Extra’ to our soccer-loving viewers in Las Vegas and Phoenix. We have seen great success with the show in California,” said Jose Luis Padilla, VP General Manager KAZA and Regional VP of West Coast Managed Stations.  “It is part of our commitment to bring new and relevant local programming to the West Coast.
