Vme adds to team.

Richard Taub has been named Vice President, Business Development. In this newly-created role, which reports to Carmen DiRienzo, president and CEO of V-me, Taub takes the lead on mergers and acquisitions, distribution, strategic alliances and partnerships, including several currently in development with retailers, investors, and production partners.

Prior to joining V-Me, Taub headed his own consulting firm focused on Hispanic media, where he assisted LIN Television in its distribution and the $130 million sale of the WAPA Puerto Rico networks, and served clients including V-me, Intermedia Advisors, MasterCard and the Condista channel portfolio. Taub’s professional experience also includes four years in banking with Citigroup Latin America and as an analyst with National Geographic’s New Ventures Group.

“Richard brings a wealth of strategic perspective and Hispanic media experience to our team, ” said DiRienzo. “We are thrilled to have him join us as we expand our brand and our business into new areas.”

In the Advertising Sales area, Kim Fabian has joined V-me as Network Sales Account Manager, moving to V-me from her role as National Account Executive at Univision.

V-me announced further additions in its network and production operations teams. Mauricio Gallego was named Manager, Post-Production and Felix Martinez is Manager, IT and Operations. Both positions have been created to support V-me’s new internal post-production and production facilities.

” V-me is evolving from a launch structure to one that gives integrated support to our initiatives, responds to increased sales activity, and lets us react to a changing marketplace, ” added DiRienzo. “These additions to our already strong team position us well for the future.”
