Vme receives ‘Hero of the Environment’ Award.

National Spanish-language television network, Vme receives “Heroe del Medio Ambiente” (“Hero of the Environment”) Award from the Monterey Bay Aquarium during its annual Fiesta del Mar event on Sunday, October 16, 2011. The network was recognized for being the Spanish leader in nature-dedicated programming with its daily block, Planeta Feroz (Fierce Planet). Planeta Feroz host, Alessandra Villegas accepted the award on behalf of the network.
