Vme shouts ‘Hola Peques’ with Mundo Peque.

As part of its overarching commitment to prepare a new generation of Latino children for success, Vme shouts a big “Hola Peques” to kids with its new interstitial series, Mundo Peque. Do you like to cook?, Do you have a pet? Do you like to sing with your dad? The children on Vme’s new series sure do, and they are sharing their ideas with other children. Mundo Peque (Little World), a series of 60-second interstitials begins February 21 and airs during Vme’s daily four-hour preschool block, Vme Niños, and on its 24/7 cable channel Vme Kids.

Mundo Peque provides preschool children and their caregivers ideas and activities that will help children interpret learn and interact with the world around them while having fun. Vme and Vme Kids are safe, fun and engaging places offering no direct response ads or other non-relevant and potentially inappropriate content. Vme uses this valuable air-time to further help young children and their families in fun and engaging ways.

Mundo Peque, is produced by Vme and features young children and the hosts from Vme’s popular programs like TuBebé, Planeta Feroz, Vme Cocina, MiMascota, En Pantalla and Nota Musical showing different and easy ways for parents to engage and teach children at home. Each host is featured in ten 60-second capsules offering a wide variety of content to engage children and their families. Future episodes will introduce dual language learning and fun ways to stay healthy and well.

“Everyone shares a role in helping kids grow and learn and as the only Spanish-language network offering extensive children’s programming — Vme takes its role seriously. Mundo Peque is one more way Vme is connecting our hosts with the lives of our youngest viewers,” Carmen DiRienzo, president and CEO.
