The Vox Collective expands Leadership Team.
December 27, 2010
The vox collective is pleased to announce that Patricia L. Taylor has been named Group Director of Public Relations and Communications. The appointment marks a significant expansion of the agency’s communications practice and reflects its deepening commitment to promoting corporate responsibility and public relations for the emerging U.S. Hispanic and multicultural markets.
Patricia will report to Miriam Muléy, Vice President of Client Services and Strategy, and brings to the vox collective more than a decade of experience running high-level campaigns in both the U.S. and Mexico, across a range of industries and product categories. As a long-time Group Director at the Jeffrey Group, she has managed the communications, strategy and messaging for accounts as varied as Jose Cuervo, Volkswagen, Coca Cola and T-Mobile, and also planned and executed a social responsibility program for Diageo, the largest spirits company in the world.
“We couldn’t ask for a better addition to our executive team,” said Roberto Ramos, President & CEO of the vox collective. “Patricia has the experience and professionalism to add an important layer of strategy and innovative thinking as we continue to grow our client roster and move into fresh engagement areas that require smart, dynamic and sophisticated messaging.”
“I am extremely excited to have Patricia join our team,” commented Muléy. “Not only is she a strong strategist, but she is also extremely creative and has successfully married both skill sets throughout her career. Her work on behalf of the Hispanic market as well as her extensive media experience in the U.S. and Mexico has allowed her to grow into that rare PR professional who understands both sides of the equation.”
Prior to the Jeffrey Group, Patricia directed all advertising, PR and marketing initiatives for the Convention & Visitors Bureau in Laredo, Texas, where among an array of responsibilities she also acted as the agency’s spokesperson, served on the Governor’s Economic Development & Tourism Committee, was a Board Member of the Texas Travel Industry Association, and managed a number of multi-platform media and marketing initiatives involving high-profile corporate and government clients in the U.S. and Mexico. Patricia holds a BA in Communications from Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles and has been awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mexico for her contributions to improve the lives of Hispanic communities and Mexicans living abroad.
