VSBrooks Advertising names Cristina Gastón Account Manager.

VSBrooks Advertising Co-Founders/Managing Partners Diana Brooks and Vivian Santos announced that they have appointed Cristina Gastón to the position of account manager for the Coral Gables, Fla.-based agency.

As account manager, Gastón will be working mainly with VSBrooks’ client CAC-Florida Medical Centers.

Gastón joins VSBrooks Advertising from MASS Hispanic Marketing in Miami, Fla., where she worked from 2010-11 in account management, serving clients including The Clorox Company and Kimberly-Clark Corporation on their Hispanic shopper marketing initiatives.

From 2008-10, she was with Lopez Negrete Communications in Houston, Texas as an account supervisor, where she worked with accounts such as Walmart, Dr Pepper, 7UP, Squirt, Sunkist and Tyson Foods.

For Accentmarketing Communications in Coral Gables, where she worked from 2001-07, Gastón worked with clients including the US Navy, General Motors, Alltel Wireless and Kaiser Permanente. She also served as an intern in the sales department at Univision Communications Inc. in Miami, Fla. in 2000.
