WAPA America secures exclusive U.S. Rights to “Puertorriqueñisimo,” “Así Canta Puerto Rico”, and “El Show de Chucho.”

WAPA America has acquired the exclusive rights from Puerto Rico TV, the Island’s public television network, to three beloved local programs, “Puertorriqueñisimo,” “Así Canta Puerto Rico”, and “El Show de Chucho.” All three weekly shows are scheduled to premiere the weekend of November 22-23.

Led by heralded television personalities, Yoyo Boing, Alejandro Croatto and Yara Lasanta, “Puertorriqueñisimo” celebrates the spirit of Puerto Rico’s most iconic cities and landscapes. The cast explores the Island’s wilderness, unveiling Puerto Rico’s hidden treasures. “Puertorriqueñisimo” debuts Saturday, November 22, at 6pm ET.

“Así Canta Puerto Rico” is a celebrated cultural program that brings together the best musical talent in Puerto Rico. Moderated with a dose of humor by Luisito Vigoreaux, the program captures the best rhythms and sounds the Island has to offer. “Así Canta Puerto Rico” premieres on Sunday, November 23, at 8pm ET.
Hosted by one of Puerto Rico’s most beloved entertainers, Armando ‘Chucho’ Avellanet, “El Show de Chucho” features a rotating cast of singers, actors and comedians improvising alongside Chucho’s larger-than-life stage presence. The program debuts on Sunday, November 22, at 9pm ET.
