Weekly Reader Launches ‘Leo cada dia’.

Leo cada dia — that means I read every day! That’s exactly Weekly Reader hopes Spanish and English speaking students will adopt as their mottos this year.

For more than a century, Weekly Reader has inspired millions of students to become daily readers. Now, Weekly Reader is offering kindergarten through second-grade teachers, new educational materials for Spanish speaking students. The materials were introduced to teachers nationwide at the National Association for Bilingual Education Conference in San Antonio.

“We worked with teachers nationwide to develop this new magazine,” said Emily Swenson, President of Weekly Reader Corporation. “We feel this new format offers educators the best materials to teach Spanish speaking students.”
