According to industry insiders, the loss of the Procter & Gamble account and now the Walmart account on US only scale for Starcom MediaVest Group is devastating to their Multicultural division.
Over the last two decades the accounts that Starcom MediaVest Group Multicultural has added to it roster has made it the top buying agency in the US Hispanic Market.
Re-assignment of personnel and/or layoffs are expected.
Many speculate that a change in agency roster is good for the accounts and for the US Hispanic Market.
Clients are looking at targeting consumers in their new reality and the US Hispanic Market has many new media opportunities that now believe they can compete, once traditional mindsets which are fixed on specific media outlets and platforms are not part of decades long media plans.
