Wing expands Media Team.

Alain Groenendaal, President and CEO of Wing announced the appointment of James Roberts to Media Supervisor and Jose Merino to Media Buyer. Both are new positions.

Roberts, based out of San Francisco, and Merino, based out of Miami, will develop and implement media strategy for Wing clients including Reliant Energy, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Garick Corporation. Roberts will report to Wing’s Vice President of Communication Planning Enrique Dussan, and Merino reports to Roberts.

“James and Jose are both skilled media strategists who bring valuable experience to Wing’s growing media team,” Groenendaal said. “We’re thrilled to have them on board.”

Roberts joins from Hoffman Lewis Advertising, where he worked as Senior Media Planner on clients such as BevMo!, Bank of the West and SlingBox across TV, cable, radio, print, digital and OOH. Prior to that, he worked at Grey San Francisco as Senior Media Planner on clients including Mervyn’s, Roman Meal Bread and the San Francisco Opera.

Merino joins Wing from Carrera & Partners, where he served as Media Buyer and Planner.
