WorldLink To Represent TuTv Digital Networks.

WorldLink has entered into an exclusive advertising sales representation agreement with the TuTv suite of digital networks, a Univision Communications Inc. and Grupo Televisa, S.A. joint venture. The announcement was jointly made today by Toni Erickson Knight, founder and CEO of WorldLink, and Mark Feldman, President and CEO of TuTv.

Under terms of the arrangement, WorldLink will exclusively oversee all advertising sales activities for three of TuTv’s five U.S. digital channels: De Película, De Película Clasico and Telehit. De Película is Latin America’s and Mexico’s leading Spanish-language movie channel, featuring commercial-free drama, romance, comedy, action and family movies. De Película Clásico is a 24-hours-a-day classic movie channel, incorporating movies from the 1930s, ’40s and ’50s representing the “Golden Era” of Mexican filmmaking. Telehit is a lifestyle and music channel in Latin America and Europe serving young adults with popular pop, rock and alternative music videos, concerts, celebrity interviews and music news. TuTv’s remaining two channels, Ritmoson and Bandamax, will be launched in the U.S. shortly.

“We are extremely pleased to be working with WorldLink, a first-class sales firm for Hispanic media,” said Mark Feldman, President and CEO of TuTv. “The response of U.S. Hispanics to the availability of De Película, De Película Clasico and Telehit has been tremendous, reflecting the channels’ unparalleled quality and brand recognition. Advertisers are increasingly recognizing the benefits of partnering with TuTv to reach Hispanic America.”

Erickson Knight added, “The Hispanic market in the United States is the fastest-growing market segment in our business. It holds an immense amount of buying power and advertisers are increasingly looking for quality avenues with which to reach this attractive audience. TuTv’s suite of networks has a proven audience in Mexico and an incredibly strong programming niche that we are excited to bring to U.S. advertisers. ”

TuTv was created in 2002 through a joint venture between Univision Communications Inc. and Televisa S.A. TuTv includes five of the most powerful network brands in the Spanish-speaking media world, including De Película, De Película Clásico, Telehit, Ritmoson and Bandamax. This collection of digital television networks produced by Televisa is already distributed and popular throughout Mexico, Latin America and Europe.
