WSCV Telemundo in Miami wins at Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards.

WSCV Telemundo 51 announced that the station was honored with 14 prestigious Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards during the awards ceremony held in Orlando, Florida on December 6, 2008. “The fourteen EMMY awards recognize our News Department’s commitment to journalistic excellence as represented by the stories singled out as worthy of the EMMY awards,” said Manuel Martinez, Telemundo 51 Vice President and General Manager.

“The EMMY Awards come at a time when we are still celebrating our #1 position as the 11pm news ratings leader among all South Florida stations, and they serve as an incentive to continue striving for excellence every day of the year,” said Migdalia Figueroa, Telemundo 51 Vice President of News.
