Yahoo! en Español To Offer Mortgage Services To U.S. Hispanics.

Nationwide Advantage Mortgage and Yahoo! en Español announced the launch of “The Best Mortgage” center ( http://www.lamejorhipoteca.com/ ), an online destination providing Spanish-speaking consumers with the information, tools and resources they need to make informed decisions about home buying and financing.
NAMC’s new online minisite educates and allows Spanish-speaking consumers to take advantage of an existing low-cost, low-rate mortgage program for those ready to purchase their first home or refinance an existing home.
“Our research indicates that, historically, the Latino community has had too many barriers to home buying and financing needs,” says Robert Kallio, associate vice president of marketing for Nationwide Advantage Mortgage Company. “Our partnership with Yahoo! en Español provides the informational resources and financial tools to lower the cost of buying and owning a home for the growing Latino market,” added Kallio.
The educational mini-site will provide Hispanic consumers with a wide range of informational articles addressing the concerns of first-time home buyers, as well as those of more experienced borrowers. Users will also be able to check NAMC’s current mortgage rates and to submit a free loan application online or over the phone, with decisions made in as little as ten minutes.
