Yahoo! en Español & Puerto Rico’s ZONAi Network In Content Venture.

Yahoo! en Español and ZONAi Network announced that they have entered into a content distribution deal to provide news stories to Yahoo! en Español from Puerto Rico’s main daily newspaper El Nuevo Día , Primera Hora newspaper and medical Web site Consalud.

Under the terms of the agreement, ZONAi Network will provide health, sports and local news to Yahoo! en Español users on Yahoo! Noticias (http://noticias.espanol.yahoo.com). Visitors will be served a daily mix of local news from El Nuevo Día, alongside sports coverage and local community happenings from Primera Hora. In addition, users will be able to choose from information on nutrition, women and men’s health, as well as other health-related stories from Consalud (http://www.consalud.com).

The content from the ZONAi Network will be featured in the newly designed Yahoo! Noticias site, which offers additional content providers, compelling photos, a more user-friendly format and graphics interface as well as a news chat section where people can discuss the latest goings on.
