Yahoo! en Español and Sportsio announced that they have reached a content distribution agreement to deliver Todofutbol.com and Umbro.com content on Yahoo! Deportes (http://deportes.espanol.yahoo.com). As part of the agreement, Sportsio will provide Yahoo! Deportes with a daily feed of breaking news stories and features from soccer leagues all around the world.
“Our agreement with Sportsio allows us to continue to add more depth and coverage to our increasingly robust sports site, and help us make Yahoo! Deportes the first stop users go to when looking for sports related news,” said Fernando Battaglia, producer for Yahoo! en Español. “The content will also be an integral part of Yahoo! en Español’s comprehensive coverage of the World Cup on Yahoo! Deportes.”
Yahoo! en Español soccer fans will have access to daily news coverage and feature stories regarding their favorite teams and players provided through Todofutbol.com and Umbro.com. The addition of Todofutfol.com and Umbro.com’s content to Yahoo! Deportes further enhances an already comprehensive sports site that also offers chats, clubs, and in-depth information and coverage of sports leagues and sporting events around the globe.
