Yankelovich Partners & the Tomas Rivera Policy Institute Present @t NHCC/FIU Symposium.

The National Hispanic Corporate Council (NHCC), in partnership with Florida International University, will hold its first symposium June 16-18 in Miami, Florida, entitled Hispanic Marketing – Planning Today for a Different Future. The symposium will concentrate on the changing factors within the Hispanic community and their influence on marketing in the future.

J. Walker Smith, President of Yankelovich Partners, will focus on the importance of lifestyle changes within the Hispanic community and the need for developing customer-targeted solutions. Dr. Harry Pachon, President of The Tomas Rivera Policy Institute, and Roberto Suri, Director of the Pew Hispanic Center, will present research demonstrating the impact of U.S.-born Hispanics on population growth, geographic dispersion and politics.

Advertising to the Hispanic Market in 2015 will be the subject of a panel comprised of Sonia Maria Green, Director of Hispanic Marketing for General Motors; Hector Orci, Co-Founder and Co-Chair of La Agencia de Orci; and Monica Gadsby, CEO/Managing Director for Tapestry. Corporate and academic experts in diversity, population statistics and marketing will also present.
