ZGS Communications Wins Three Latino Marketing Awards.

ZGS Communications, Inc. won three awards at last night’s Latino Marketing Awards ceremony held in Los Angeles. Twenty-five awards were given out and ZGS won the most of any Hispanic-owned agency.

In the Best Creative category for Radio, ZGS won its award for the humorous “Mooo-chas Gracias” spot. Designed to promote Giant Food’s milk sales promotion in the Hispanic market, the spot is an intimate conversation between two friendly cows as they undergo their morning milking ritual.

ZGS also won the Best Non-Profit Creative and Collateral Materials category for the “Helping Your Child” series for the U.S. Department of Education. The creative for the book series includes original artwork in different mediums and original design from the ZGS shop for a series of six books. The “Helping Your Child” series is the most requested publication series in the Department of Education and over 4.2 million copies have been requested since August 2002.

For Best Logo Design, ZGS won for the redesign and branding of the Washington, DC-based National Latino Council on Alcohol and Tobacco Prevention (LCAT). The new LCAT logo reflects its focus on improving the health and well being of Latino communities across the country.

“These awards demonstrate ZGS’s strength in both retail brands and social marketing, making our creative edge and deep knowledge of our target markets a winning difference,” said ZGS CEO Lorena Chambers. “Every single team member is committed to multicultural marketing and it is front and center when we design each campaign—whether it be for the general market, Hispanic or African-American market.”
