Zimmerman named VP & GM & Director of Sales for Univision San Antonio & Austin.

Univision Communications Inc. announced the appointment of Jeff Zimmerman to vice president, general manager and director of sales of Univision San Antonio and Austin. He is based out of San Antonio and will report to both Luis Patiño, senior vice president, Univision Television Group, and Mark Dante, executive vice president, Television Station Group Ad Sales.
 
In this new role, Zimmerman will oversee operations including Ad Sales, Marketing, News, Production and Promotions at all of Univision’s owned and operated stations in San Antonio and Austin.
 
“For more than 12 years, Jeff has brought a wealth of knowledge to our Univision stations having worked in Texas the majority of his broadcast career,” said Luis Patiño, senior vice president, Univision Television Group. “His credibility and experience within the media industry will continue to help propel Univision San Antonio and Austin into the next chapter of growth.”
