Zubi resigns Progressive Direct.

After a 3-market test in the Hispanic market in Q4 of 2006, Zubi Advertising has decided to part ways with Progressive Direct due to a repositioning of auto insurance company‚s brand strategy and focus for the Hispanic market.

“Progressive‚s new brand direction for the Hispanic market is more focused on the sales force as part of their efforts with independent agents, and Zubi has decided not to participate in the pitch for this part of their business,” said Joe Zubizarreta, Chief Operating Officer for Zubi Advertising. “We wish Progressive Direct continued success.”

Progressive Direct named Zubi Advertising their first ever Hispanic agency of record in September of 2005. Zubi‚s work focused on establishing consumer brand loyalty within the U.S. Hispanic market for the company through ads that launched in the fourth quarter of 2006.
