Zubi Wins ADDYs.

Zubi Advertising had an extremely successful weekend at the 2004 ADDY Gala Awards. Having submitted their creative campaigns from regional ADDY® wins for clients such as American Airlines, The Florida Lottery, Ford Motor Company and MasterFoods, Zubi took home two national Awards for The Florida Lottery and Ford Motor Company.

“We saw a lot of great work from many agencies and are thrilled to be honored among this talented and creative group,” said Joe Zubizarreta, Chief Operating Officer of Zubi Advertising. “Awards such as these are a testament to the hard work and creative inspiration of so many dedicated team members.”

The Miami based agency, with over 100 local employees, won one silver award for The Florida Lottery print ads titled “Hard Workers,” which feature various images of actual lottery balls in workplace environments. In one such ad, two lottery balls stand in front of the water cooler and complain about being under so much stress that their hair is falling out. The other notable victory was for an elegant and stylish four-color promotional brochure for Ford Motor Company’s SDDD (Supplier Diversity, Dealer Development).

“I am extremely proud of my team for crafting work that is both creative and strategic,” said Emmie Vazquez, Vice President Creative Director of Zubi Advertising. “This combination does more than just win awards; it generates results for our clients and elevates creative standards for the Hispanic market overall.”

In addition to Zubi Advertising’s wins, 5 other Miami-based agencies were victorious in the National ADDY® competition, further solidifying its place as a key location for advertising creativity.

“The Miami Ad Fed is thrilled with the solid performance our local agencies achieved in this year’s national ADDY® competition,” said Ric Banciella, president of the Advertising Federation of Greater Miami. “Miami continues to build on its reputation as a creative hotbed and the source of some of the finest multicultural advertising work in the country.”
