John Paton named CEO of Journal Register Company.
Journal Register Company announced the appointment of John Paton as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Paton joins the Company from impreMedia LLC, where he has been Chairman, Chief Executive and President of the U.S. Hispanic media company that he co-founded in 2003. NYPD executes search warrants on 4 NYC Newspapers.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the New York Police department executed search warrants as part of a Manhattan District Attorney investigation on business activity and practices surrounding the Newspaper and Mail Deliverers’ Union. The papers involved in the search are New York Times, the New York Daily News, the New York Post, El Diario La Prensa. Along with the Newspaper and Mail Deliverers’ Union office, a local branch of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
