Advertising Industry Issues RFQ to develop new methods for Talent Payment in commercials.

The Joint Policy Committee on Broadcast Talent Union Relations (JPC), the entity that represents the advertising industry in contract negotiations with the major talent unions, issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for an independent consultant to develop alternate methods to compensate actors for their participation in commercials that appear on television and radio as well as in the growing array of new media.

PR coalition ‘Diversity Benchmark Study’.

The Public Relations Coalition, an alliance of 23 industry related organizations, announced the findings of its first diversity benchmark survey today. Beck’s launch Multicultural advertising campaign.

Beck’s and Beck’s Premier Light are set to launch an extensive multicultural advertising campaign focused on the Hispanic consumer. This is the brand’s first fully integrated advertising campaign created specifically for the Hispanic market. The campaign kicks off on March 20 with television, out of home, and radio advertising. All media will launch simultaneously and run into the fall of 2006.

Gatorade debuts new commercial.
