Hill, Holliday announced that it has been selected as the AOR for Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston. The account will be handled out of Hill, Holliday’s Miami Beach office, and will include both general market and Hispanic advertising.

Creative Civilization AOR For KLASS Foods.

Klass food and beverage products has retained Creative Civilization – An Aguilar/Girard Agency for all creative, media planning/buying, public relations and promotional work. Creative Civilization is Klass’ first agency of record in the United States. Klass, based in Houston, TX, distributes a variety of food and beverage products including Aguas Frescas, Licuados, Gelatinas and Atoles.

OMD Latino Launches.

OMD Worldwide and del Rivero Messianu DDB have joined forces to create OMD Latino. “OMD Latino will be a Hispanic media powerhouse; the benefit to clients is quite clear,” said Page Thompson, CEO of OMD North America, said. “OMD Latino offers a strategic approach to media, Hispanic market depth, maximization of cost efficiencies and the alignment and integration of the overall marketing and creative processes.”

La Agencia de Orcí & Asociados recently launched the first U.S. Hispanic advertising campaign for Combe Incorporated. The new campaign for the company’s Just for Men haircolor brand is the first of its kind for a male grooming product and consists of two :30 TV spots and radio spots. The total budget is estimated at $4 million.

The maker of DICKIES workwear announced that it is launching a major Hispanic marketing initiative in the U.S. and has named The Cartel Group of San Antonio as its agency of record (AOR).

Mexican Teams Have High Expectations For The Copa Libertadores @ Fox Sports en Español

Fox Sports en Español will open its coverage of the 2004 Copa Toyota Libertadores soccer competition with three back-to-back telecasts. Colo Colo (Chile) and Deportivo Cali (Colombia) will kick off the network’s first set of live telecasts on Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. (ET)/4:00 p.m. (PT), followed by Santos Laguna (Mexico) and Universidad de Concepción (Chile) at 9:30 p.m. (ET)/6:30 p.m. (PT).
