The committee recognized a need to develop a comprehensive analysis of best practices for advertisers to help formalize this process, maximize marketing efficiency and drive ROI.

Greyhound Launches New Ads.

As part of its strategy to reach out to the urban and Hispanic markets, Greyhound Lines, Inc. has launched a new nationwide radio campaign featuring the new voices of Greyhound, comedians Wanda Sykes and Adál Ramones. The ads, created by Dallas-based agency The Richards Group, touch on current issues facing the public.

Ad Age Hispanic Creative Awards Call For Entries.

Advertising Age is accepting entries for its seventh annual Hispanic Creative Advertising Awards. TV, radio, magazine, newspaper, out-of-home and interactive ads and Web sites targeted at U.S. Hispanic consumers that broke between May 1, 2004 and April 30, 2005 are eligible.

COD Creates Ink For Volkswagen’s Touareg.

Miami agency C.O.D has created a new commercial titled “Ink” for Volkswagen’s Touareg SUV. The spot was created using an innovative 3-D animation technique that made it possible for the Touareg to play a cat and mouse game with a mischievous ink spot.

Bromley Top Honors @ San Antonio ADDYs.

San Antonio-based Bromley Communications won 14 ADDY awards hosted by the San Antonio chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The agency took home a total of seven Gold, five Silver and two Bronze ADDYs for its ground-breaking work on Circuit City, Procter & Gamble, Coors Light Brewing Company and Continental Airlines.

Miami-based COD was the most awarded agency at the Miami ADDYs, winning Best of Show in the Television (non-English) category for its Volkswagen Touareg spot titled “Rear View”, as well as eight Gold and eighteen Silver Awards for its other print, TV and radio pieces.

Honda Premieres Hispanic Ads For Ridgeline.

American Honda Motor Co. Inc. launched the first U.S. Hispanic national advertising campaign for its first truck entry, the Ridgeline. The original :30 TV spot, which is titled “Kingdom,” print ads and out-of-home ads were created by Honda’s Hispanic Agency of Record, La Agencia de Orci & Asociados.
