The 4A’s announced its 2014-2015 Board of Directors and Board Officers, following its Board of Directors’ meeting in New York.  The officers, directors-at-large and regional representatives make up a 27-member Board that represents agencies of varying sizes throughout the United States.

EL CÍRCULO announces Winners of Young Creatives Contest

Círculo Creativo is pleased to announce the winners for this year’s Young Creatives Contest and Not So Young Creatives Contest.  The brief entailed ideating a TV or Cyber piece for La Cocina VA, a non-profit organization that generates job opportunities for the unemployed through job training in the hospitality and food service industries. The judges panel this year was, as always, comprised of a panel of creatives from outside the U.S. Hispanic market.

The ANA and BAA join forces to elevate Brand Building

The ANA (Association of National Advertisers) and the Brand Activation Association (BAA) announced that their boards of directors unanimously approved plans for the ANA to acquire the BAA as of July 1, 2014.

The Hispanic Public Relations Association’s New York Chapter (HPRA-NY) Elects 2014 Executive Board

The Hispanic Public Relations Association’s New York Chapter announced the 2014 Executive Board elected by its members. Andy Checo, marketing director at MundoFox, has been re-elected as President of the organization. Federico Mejer, managing director at MGSCOMM was also re-appointed as Vice President, as was Veronica Potes, integrated marketing manager at Univision, who previously served as Secretary. New to the board is Maria Amor, vice president at Formulatin, who has been elected as Secretary. Evelyn Galarza, public relations manager at Time Warner Cable was elected to continue serving as Treasurer, following her appointment by the board in mid-2013.
