Sales growth for Grocery Retailers not expected to keep pace with Inflation.

During “The Future of Food Retailing” Webinar sponsored by The Food Institute, Willard Bishop revealed that growth rates for six retail formats are not expected to keep pace with inflation. The six types of formats include four grocery retail formats, convenience stores that sell gas, and military outlets.

Daisy Expósito-Ulla, who helped create the largest advertising and marketing agency in the U.S. Hispanic market, has acquired a major stake in CMS/Partners, LLC. CMS, started in May 2005 by Expósito-Ulla’s former colleagues Fernando Fernández and Gloria Constanza, has grown substantially serving a diverse roster of clients. The company will now operate under the name, d expósito & partners.

California & NYC most popular places to live.

California, Hawaii, and Florida remain the most popular states that U.S. adults would choose to live in if they could live in any state outside of their own, according to a new Harris Poll. Last year, these states were also ranked as the “Top 3” though in a slightly different order: Hawaii has moved to #2 and Florida has dropped to #3.

According to Inside Radio, the general election is scheduled for November 7 – so that means the 60-day lowest unit charge period begins. Macy’s launches Fall Hispanic campaign.

Macy’s is launching a new advertising campaign for Hispanics this Fall. The campaign’s launch on September 9th comes during the beginning of the traditional Fall season for retailers and coincides with Macy’s addition of 400 new store locations nationwide.
