Lapiz creates Chicago Latino Film Festival trailer.

Lapiz created a trailer in support of this year’s Chicago Latino Film Festival (April 13-24) entitled “Paternity.” The spot captures a father telling his son, after many years of withholding the truth, that he is not his biological father. The same story is retold three times, in three different countries, affecting how the news is relayed and interpreted.

A couple of weeks ago I finally parked myself at the Richard Rodgers Theater on Broadway to see “In the Heights,” the Tony award-winning musical written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, about New York’s Nuyorican and Dominican neighborhood of upper Manhattan. What a charming, inspiring show.
