Telemundo Revitalizes Daytime Lineup.

Telemundo announced the premiere of two new programs sure to revitalize the network’s daily lineup: “Señora León” (Lady León) (1PM/12c), marking the arrival of acclaimed artist Laura León to the Telemundo family, and “12 Corazones” (12 Hearts) (12PM/11c), a program previously broadcasted by local Los Angeles Telemundo station KWHY, which will now air nationally. “Señora León” and “12 Corazones” will make their grand debut on Telemundo on Monday, January 9, 2006.

Univision Announces ‘Premio Lo Nuestro’ 2006 Nominees.

The 18th Annual “Premio Lo Nuestro a la Musica Latina” (Lo Nuestro Latin Music Awards) nominees were announced during a press conference televised live on the Univision Network morning show “Despierta América.” As in years past, the hottest names in Latin music make up the list of nominees for the longest running and most popular Latin music award program in the U.S. “Premio lo Nuestro” will be broadcast by the Univision Network on Thursday, February 23 from 8-11 pm ET/PT (7-10 pm Central/Mountain) live from Miami’s American Airlines Arena.

Ricky Martin Launches ‘One Night Only’ Tour.

Coming off of a SOLD OUT Latin American Tour Ricky Martin will tour throughout the U.S. in January/February and continue to perform at the winter Olympics in Turin, Italy on February 22, before continuing throughout the world in 2006 and 2007.

Prince & Salma Hayek Create ‘Te Amo Corazon’.

Prince will premiere “Te Amo Corazon,” which translates to “I Love You, Sweetheart,” the first audio visual installment from “3121” the forthcoming album, across all of VH1’s platforms: television, broadband and wireless.

Univision To Broadcast FIFA World Cup Final Draw From Germany.

The World Cup “Sorteo” (Final Draw), the most eagerly awaited event prior to next summer’s soccer mega-event, will be broadcast live from Leipzig, Germany on the Univision Television Network on Friday, December 9, 2005 from 2:30pm – 4:00pm ET (1:30pm – 3:00pm CT/11:30am – 1:00pm PT).
