Telemundo’s most memorable music special, Celia Cruz: ¡Azúcar!, the tribute to the undisputed queen of salsa, was launched in stores on January 27th. Net proceeds will be donated to The Celia Cruz Foundation, which offers music scholarships to low-income students and supports entities dedicated to find a cure for cancer.

VOY announced the launch of its feature film division, VOY Pictures, LLC. In partnership with top Latino talent, VOY will produce twelve to fifteen films over the next three years, establishing VOY as the hub for Latino film in Hollywood.

Entravision Radio, a division of Entravision Communications Corporation EVC, announced the appointment of Karl Alonso Meyer as General Manager of its Los Angeles radio cluster. Mr. Meyer’s appointment will take effect once his current duties with Radio Unica are complete.
