GLR Networks announced the addition of four new musical radio shows to their Spanish language programming geared towards Hispanics living in America. These shows range from a variety of musical formats targeted to different demographic groups in the Hispanic market.

The weekly audience of all forms of online radio is now at an estimated 76 million Americans age 12 and older, reaching 29 percent of the population and representing an increase of more than 30 percent from one year ago according to the new national survey from Arbitron Inc.

National Latino Broadcasting LLC (NLB) celebrates today the 25th show of From Washington al Mundo, on Cristina Radio SiriusXM channel 146. The program, hosted by Mauricio Claver-Carone, delivers first-of-its-kind original programming from our nation's capital on the most pressing foreign policy issues. To celebrate the occasion, the program will feature a special interview with Senator Marco Rubio and former Florida governor Jeb Bush on Wednesday, April 11th. The special anniversary program will also feature another interview with the show’s first ever guest, U.S. Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

According to an annual study of the consumer music market in the U.S. by The NPD Group, online radio is the fastest growing music listening option among U.S. consumers. In 2011, 43 percent of U.S. Web users chose to listen to music via Pandora, Slacker, Yahoo!

Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (SBS) announced the launch of Z92 "Zalsa y Mas!" (WCMQ- 92.3FM) a radio station targeting South Florida's young Hispanic adults in the highly sought-after 25-64 demographic.

Entravision Communications Corporation announced it has secured the rights to syndicate the popular radio program “El Vacilón del Mandril.” The show, which currently airs on Entravision’s La Tricolor format radio stations in nine markets and on Spanish Broadcasting System’s stations in two market

Univision Radio announced the debut of a major music festival series this summer, the H2O Music Festival. The first festival will take place in Dallas on June 9 in the historic Cotton Bowl with an additional event to be held in another major market later in the summer.

WSUA - Radio Caracol 1260 AM announced that the station will be hosting a “Noche W” presenting a night filled with music and entertainment for Caracol’s listeners in South Florida – especially those fans of the station’s morning drive show “La W con Julio Sanchez Cristo”.
