Arroba de Oro contest awards web sites that contribute to the U.S. Hispanic Market.

Since 2001, Arroba de Oro has been coordinating a contest in Latin America to recognize web sites that best contribute to the development of the internet industry in the region. Now, Arroba de Oro (Golden @ Sign) will launch its contest for the first time in the United States to honor companies, organizations and individuals that serve the U.S. Hispanic market via their web sites.

Newsweek & Latinas.

The Women and Leadership Conference, organized by Newsweek Magazine, included four Latinas, two of them from the marketing and communications industry: Daisy Exposito-Ulla, former Chairman of the Bravo Group and Christy Haubegger, founder of Latina Magazine and now Creative Artists’ Agency. Exposito-Ulla and Haubegger participated in the Newsweek Advisory Committee.

Ciudad Magazine To Discuss How to Market To English-Speaking Hispanics.

Tu Ciudad Magazine and New American Dimensions are co-sponsoring a breakthrough conference on October 27, 2005, at the Maritime Hotel in New York City. The conference will provide research-based insights into a rapidly expanding segment of the Hispanic market: English dominant and bilingual Hispanics.

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) announced the schedule and panelists for their annual two-day Public Policy Conference on September 12 and 13 at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C. This conference is part of their week of activities during Hispanic Heritage Month with “CHCI: Leadership for America’s Future” as their theme.
