The Los Angeles chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-LA) released an independent economic impact report that found public relations agencies contribute more than $445 million to Los Angeles County’s economy annually, while each new public relations job creates nearly two new jobs.

According to industry insiders, the Personal Care division of Unilever has select Coral Gables based Zubi Advertising to handle all Hispanic advertising and marketing responsibilities for the division’s brands.
Valdés-Fauli named President of The Jeffrey Group.
The Jeffrey Group has promoted Mike Valdés-Fauli to President. Jeffrey Sharlach, founder and CEO of the firm, also announced that Juan Sanchez, a former Vice President at the agency from 1993 until 2002, will be rejoining as Senior Counselor. Jorge Ortega, who had been President of the firm since 2005, has resigned to pursue other interests. Brian Burlingame, Chief Operating Officer, who has been at the agency for more than 10 years, will continue to manage The Jeffrey Group’s day-to-day operations.
