A Deloitte survey of companies sponsoring online communities indicates that enterprises have begun to effectively use social media tools and online communities to engage with customers and employees for brand discussions, idea generation and product discovery. However, the survey also indicates that while these online initiatives are having a positive impact, enterprises have not yet harnessed the true potential of these communities.

ESPN Deportes and the World Domino Federation presented the VI World Domino Championship at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Fla. Thursday, July 10 – Saturday, July 12. This year’s championship broke the Guinness World Record for “Most People Playing Dominoes,” with 332 players helping surpass the previous record of 300. The three-day event gathered over 554 domino enthusiasts, with representation from nine countries from Latin America, Canada, Portugal, Spain, Russia and the United States.

Puerto Rico’s first public television station, TUTV (WIPR-TV), announced the station’s evolution to high definition digital production, with the inauguration of modern, state-of-the-art facilities.
