Telemundo Communications Group revealed that its upcoming telecast of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China will be the best ad-supported broadcast of the Olympics in the network’s history. Telemundo has signed on major national advertisers across all categories including AT&T, Coca-Cola, Farmers Insurance, Mexico Tourism Board, Target and U.S. Navy. Locally, the games will be sponsored by AT&T and Chevron.

Lucia Ballas-Traynor has been named publisher of People en Español, it was announced by Time Inc. Entertainment Group president Paul Caine. She begins her new position August 18.
