Univision Communications Inc. announced the promotion of Trisha Pray to executive vice president of Network Sales, effective immediately. She will continue to be based in New York and will report to Keith Turner, president of Sales and Marketing for Univision Communications Inc.

Estrella TV inks deal to broadcast Primera League Soccer.
Estrella TV has become the official and exclusive US Hispanic broadcast home for Alianza Fútbol Club soccer games and will air all the action live and direct from El Salvador where the team competes in the Primera Division, the country’s highest tier league.
Telemundo Media sign exclusive rights with Television Nacional de Chile.
Telemundo Media announced it signed an overall exclusive content agreement with leading broadcaster and content producer Television Nacional de Chile (TVN). The deal includes the acquisition of exclusive U.S., Puerto Rico and Mexico rights for TVN’s entire novela scripts’ library across all media platforms.

ESPN Deportes will also host its Upfront on Wednesday, May 15, at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place in New York at the Joseph Urban Theater in the Hearst Tower.

Azteca America announced that it will be holding its annual New York upfront event on May 13, from 6-10 pm.
Kenny named Executive VP of Network Sales and Marketing at Estrella TV.
Judy Kenny joins Estrella TV having served in senior-level positions with BBDO, ABC-TV, Fox and Univision. Starting her career at the BBDO advertising agency, Kenny moved to ABC Television Network sales where she served for 8 years in the News, Sports and Primetime divisions. Recruited by Univision, Kenny headed up the network’s sales operations as Executive Vice President of Network Sales for the last four years of her ten year tenure there. At Fox, she served as Executive Vice President of My Network/20th Syndication.
