Univision Deportes & ESPN collaborate to increase El Tri Power in the USA.

Univision Deportes and ESPN have formalized an alliance to increase the reach of the Mexican National Soccer Team (nicknamed “El Tri”) in the U.S. The agreement grants ESPN’s English-language networks and digital platforms the media rights to Mexico’s home FIFA World Cup qualifying matches and international friendlies. The English-language coverage will complement Univision’s Spanish-language coverage of the Mexican Team on broadcast, cable and interactive platforms.

FOX Deportes announced a new strategic partnership with radio broadcasting giant Stardome Radio Networks, providing Latino sports fans with more ways to stay up to date with the latest in sports. As of early February, content from “Central Fox” and “La Última Palabra” will be broadcast in the U.S. by a Hispanic radio syndication company.

Telemundo Media sign exclusive rights with Television Nacional de Chile.

Telemundo Media announced it signed an overall exclusive content agreement with leading broadcaster and content producer Television Nacional de Chile (TVN). The deal includes the acquisition of exclusive U.S., Puerto Rico and Mexico rights for TVN’s entire novela scripts’ library across all media platforms.
