National Latino Broadcasting LLC (NLB) celebrates today the 25th show of From Washington al Mundo, on Cristina Radio SiriusXM channel 146. The program, hosted by Mauricio Claver-Carone, delivers first-of-its-kind original programming from our nation’s capital on the most pressing foreign policy issues. To celebrate the occasion, the program will feature a special interview with Senator Marco Rubio and former Florida governor Jeb Bush on Wednesday, April 11th. The special anniversary program will also feature another interview with the show’s first ever guest, U.S. Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Eric Rhoads, Publisher and CEO of Radio Ink, announced that Howard Kalmenson, President & CEO of Lotus Communications, has been named to receive this year’s Lifetime Achievement honor in Radio Ink’s Medallas de Cortez Hispanic Radio Awards. This is the highest honor in the Medallas de Cortez, named after Hispanic radio pioneer Raoul Cortez.
