U.S. Advertising Expenditures increased 2.6% In Q1 2012
Total advertising expenditures in the first quarter of 2012 increased 2.6 percent from a year ago and finished the period at $32.9 billion, according to data released Kantar Media. The gain represents a modest rebound compared to flat spending in the second half of 2011.

Domino’s Pizza is giving its customers the thanks they deserve, as it celebrates – for the first time in its history – surpassing the $1 billion mark in digital sales in the U.S. alone, during a yearlong period from April 2011 to 2012.

One Hour Translation announced that the results of a study measuring how many Fortune 500 companies offer translated content online. The data from the study was particularly alarming, given that 70% of people using the Internet are not native English speakers.

Online Ad Spending still Accelerating in Mexico.
In 2011, online ad spending growth in Mexico exceeded 30% for the third year in a row, according to the May 2012 Interactive Advertising Bureau México (IAB México) report “Estudio de Inversión Publicitaria Online en México—Resultados de 2011,” expanding 36% last year to reach MXN4.6 billion ($370 million).
