Forty-three percent of Millennials identify as a race or ethnicity other than white as compared to 38 percent of Generation X and 26 percent of Baby Boomers. Nearly one-quarter (21%) of Millennials self-identify as Hispanic and 62 percent of Millennials agree that their cultural or ethnic heritage is an important part of who they are.
