The summer of USA is getting “muy caliente” with the former Telemundo superstars guesting on two of the network’s most buzzed about and highest rated summer series, ROYAL PAINS and BURN NOTICE.

Networks Struggle to Appeal to Hispanics.

Sofia Vergara is probably the most recognizable Hispanic actress working in English-language television. She is one of the stars of “Modern Family,” among the highest-rated scripted shows on network television, and she has parlayed her celebrity into commercials for brands like Pepsi and Cover Girl.

Ricky joins Telemundo.

Universal Television has signed a talent holding deal with multi-platinum recording artist Ricky Martin to develop and star in his first network television series and specials, it was announced by Bela Bajaria, Executive Vice President, Universal Television.

LATINO AMERICANS on PBS.

LATINO AMERICANS, a three-part, six-hour documentary series produced by WETA Washington, D.C.; Bosch and Company, Inc.; and Latino Public Broadcasting (LPB), will air nationwide on PBS in the Fall of 2013. LATINO AMERICANS will chronicle the lives and experiences of Latinos in the United States from 1800 to the 21st Century.
